We are glad to introduce to the geeklog community the Clar-Monitor v.1.0 for Geeklog CMS systems

Clar-Monitor v.1.0 for Geeklog CMS systems is a monitoring system that provides information about
GNU/Linux server processes to server administrator using the Cron service. It doesn't need any database at all and is designed to run on any RedHat Enterprise Linux distro and any of its clones such as Whitebox Linux, CentOS Linux and Fedora Core.

It is written in PHP and it executes bash commands to gather all the necessary information and it can be customized.

What data does it shows?

1. Operative system information, distro, kernel, architecture,etc.
Server active services such as httpd, sshd, vsftpd, etc. and it can be customized too.

2. Network connection tests running Ping command, and gathering information of the devices on your LAN that you specify.

3. Logged users to graphical or terminal system.

4. System information, such as memory, hard drive and swap space.

5. System logs information such as maillog, secure and messages logs.

What for?

This small system is a helpful tool for server administrators to be informed about data of your GNU/Linux server in a simple way and without complications. And The best of its features is that Clar-monitor for Geeklog CMS systems is implemented to be part of a geeklog site!!
