Okay, when I purchased my hosting package a autoinstaller was available for GL I thought I would give it a try.

I've managed to get on pretty well so far but I've spent a good couple of hours previous two nights and can't get a gallery installed.

Basically, I'm looking for someone who would be willing to help me add a Gallery or MediaGallery plugin to GL... I can give you my login details and could you login to my FTP/GL and install it for me?

If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Why don't you post you problem in detail? If you've been able to install GL I'm sure you'll be able to install the mediagallery plugin.
