when a user forgots his password he get a email , click on the link and then there is a window new password and if he types a new password nothing happens

he gets this line again and again
You can enter a new password for your account below. Please note that your old password is still valid until you submit this form.

the page keeps on refreshing even if he tyes a new password

i use modified axons theme and there is no update

i copied the the files you suggested but i guess something is missing

i ran 1,4 geeklog

please help

There should be two fields for the new password in that form (the second one is to confirm the password). If you don't have that, copy the file users/newpassword.thtml over from 1.4.0's Professional theme.
