How was the demo site setup?

Hi.
I'm wondering how the demo site (http://demo.geeklog.net) was setup, and particularly how it is able to refresh every hour. I'm considering creating customized/preconfigured versions of Geeklog for persons to use, and would like to offer a demo of them. What do I need from my webhost, and what do I need to do?
