I'm trying to compile a list of Linux sites running Geeklog: User groups, Linux news, tips and tricks, etc. Any site focussing on Linux-related topics, as long as it's running on Geeklog.

If you know such a site or you're running one yourself, please post it here in this thread.

Thanks.

bye, Dirk

Hi Dirk,

My site LinuxElectrons runs Linux and is focused on Linux.

Fedora Core 4 with Apache 2.0.55, PHP 4.4.1_dev, and MySQL 4.1.

That surely can't be all?! Our Linux links category is pretty empty as well ...

A few sites that I pulled from our referrer logs:

http://www.gentoo-italia.net/
http://www.cat-linux.ca/
http://www.esdebian.org/
http://utah-gentoo.org/
http://www.linuxlaguna.com/
http://www.linuxparatodos.net/

bye, Dirk

May not be exactly Linux tips, but this infamous site by Pamela Jones is all about Linux advocacy and serves as a forum for investigating the legal aspects of Linux and the open source movement in general. ...and runs Geeklog. "Groklaw became famous when, soon after being set up, it started providing detailed investigation into SCO Group's litigation against IBM and its attacks on Linux and providing legal research that might prove helpful." -from Wikipedia

I'll add others if I find any
http://linuxemu.retrofaction.com/
Melbourne, FL Linux users group
http://www.arklinux.org/ - oops a dupe
http://www.tech-geeks.org
http://www.linuxlinks.com/ - claims to be GL and phpBB

Tschüs!

Hey Dirk,

My site is not about Linux but we have a linux topic.

http://www.scurvydawg.com/index.php?topic=topiclinux

Unfortunately we have had very few stories posted about Linux and one of them was by a user who said Linux made the worst cars.

Welcome to abeNd.org - Novell News for IT Professionals

Yup ... us Novell CNE's types are still out here running solid NetWare servers & exploring Linux, mainly the SuSE distro.

Abend.org is a pretty slick website. Its how I discovered Geeklog. I'm gearing up to use Geeklog for my Novell user group website here in the Denver area.

Thanks for creating & supporting a great LAMP based application. Looking forward to Geeklog2.
