My sister has about 1000 recipes as stories on her website under MyPHPNuke (A fork of phpnuke). I like to get her up to GL.
I have installed GL on another directory.

Is there an easier way to import the stories from another CMS?

I found import.php from Tokyoahead. But it only import one story at at time.

If you take a look at the GL install directory you'll find a sql file with a few lines which add the 2 stories in a new GL installation. Use these a a sample.

Download the old stories as a CSV record with PHPMyadmin, and convert them to a sql file with UltraEdit (with great macro options) and put them in the sql field in PHPMyadmin.

It will take some time to figure it out, but it must be possible this way. I succeeded in importing 200 topics this way from an Excel file.
