style tag not working..

Hello all....

I am having trouble trying to let geeklog allow the style tag in an a story. I modified the config.php to allow me to use the style tag but it still does not work... after i save the html it removes the following which sits between the 2 stlye tags, i hope this shows up in this post, as geeklog might remove what i just pasted....

<!--
/* Style Definitions */
p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal
{margin:0cm;
margin-bottom:.0001pt;
font-size:12.0pt;
font-family:"Times New Roman";}
@page Section1
{size:612.0pt 792.0pt;
margin:72.0pt 90.0pt 72.0pt 90.0pt;}
div.Section1
{page:Section1;}
-->

in the config.php i have this 'style' =>()
with a few attributes,,

I am using MS word to creat the html, and i save the html as a filtered rather than MS regular crap...

Any help appriciated...

thanks...

Rob...

Geeklog's HTML filter also removes comments.

Btw, there's an unresolved bug in the kses filter that pretty much renders CSS in stories useless, as it assumes words followed by a colon to be some sort of protocol (e.g. 'color:' vs. 'javascript:') and removes them.

Solution: Define classes and ids in your stylesheet and refer to those.

And to post HTML in the forum, use the forum's [ CODE ] tag.

bye, Dirk
