I currently have 10 topics which I've changed the access rights to story admin.

I have a few story admins and they can't edit any stories, but their own. I'd like for them to be able to edit any story that gets posted. They both belong to All User, Story Admin, Logged-In Users.

I've tried added permissions for Topic Admin and it doesn't make a difference. Is this something that only root can do?

Setting up a Story Admin

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I've done what the FAQ says and still makes no difference.

I've tried changing the topic access rights to ALL USERS and ensured that edit was checked off, as well as made sure they had the security group added to their name and still it won't allow them to edit stories. I have tried changing the topic access rights back to topic admin and add the users to topics security group as well as stories and it still doesn't work.

I don't know what to do now. The only way I can give them access is to change their profile to root.

This should always work:

• Assign the topic to the Story Admin group
  
• Make sure "Group E" is checked
  
• Make sure the story belongs to the Story Admin group
  
• Make sure "Group E" is checked
