Problem with user's photo in profile

When user uploads photo to his profile, file get the same name as username. But if username consists of non-latin characters, Internet Explorer doesn't display user's photo. How to make GL not to rename the file?

Geeklog has to rename the file to ensure it has a unique name (imagine every user uploading a "photo.jpg" ...).

Hmm, can't think of an easy solution right now. Can you file a bug report, please (with examples, if possible)?

What bug report? There is no one (if I rightly understand). Just a little square with cross in place of userfoto. But only in IE. Firefox displays picture normally.

Maybe it's possible to rename photo as user ID?

That's why I asked you to submit one so this isn't forgotten. With the amount of posts we get in the forums, it's easy to overlook bug reports here.
