I've ewiki v1.1 installed on a GL 1.3.10. and is wonderfull but I like to know if there's some way to restrict the acces to the wiki to some concret users I dont want that any non permited user can read the wiki and of course can write down there.
I asked in the forums from the developer of the pluguin but I got no answer

I am running Euan's Ewiki plugin enabled for one user-group only. There seem to be no issues with this.
Make a new group (you need to be admin of course) without the ewiki.user or ewiki.admin permissions and make sure the core groups like "all users" and "loggedin users" dont have these permissions by default. Then make sure people whom you want the wiki visible to are part of this group.
If the number of users is tiny, you can even do this on an individual user basis as admin.
Hope that helps,
Ajay

lets see step by step... the people I want to give read and write acces to the wiki are part of a separated group so they are part of a specific group but how I can do to select in the wiki the group I like to give this rights and prevent all the other users to acces¿?

Login as admin > Admin Options > Groups > Your New Group... this brings up a page with all the different permissions you can set for the group.
Look for two checkboxes called ewiki user and ewiki admin (these should be visible if you installed Euan's plugin correctly). Tick mark "ewiki user" for the group to make the wiki visible and editable for the group. If it is already ticked then it means some core group has this enabled already - find out which one it is and make sure no other groups have this checked other than the one you want.
Cheers!

The only other thing I can think of is that the file gldir/plugins/ewiki/config.php had ewiki_anonymousaccess set to 1 while installing the plugin. If this was the case some groups are made wiki admins by default (the README file says this). In that case, I would uninstall the plugin, set anon access to 0 in the above file and install it again (just changing the value in the file after the install will not work).
Cheers!
