So hows the Geeklog Journal Plugin

It works but it certainly could use the eye of a good coder.
It is a very basic implimentation of user blogs basically.
I emailed the dev but he never responded as I recall he had a very tough spam filter and he may have never seen my email.
It does work though and thats pretty good.

I started using Journal as a Blogger area, but then realized nothing was Syndicated. So instead I just made a Topic a Blogger Area. Also it was to complicated for the average user.
At this point, I don't see a use for it.

My fork is based on some updates to the journal code from Dirk, and supports providing feeds for each journal, as an option on the per-journal level.

That looks like a PHP5 compatibility issue. Geeklog supports it but this plugin may not.

Did you turn off the possibility to post on the front page or make a featured story for those users who are "sub-bloggers"? If yes, HOW?
