Google ads in forum

I have seen on GL that google ads are showing up in in the forum pages. I was wondering where I need to add the script for this to work properly?

Also wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to get the google ads to open in a new browser screen. Google search does this but not the ads.

I was wondering if on geeklog.net if they could take off one of the ads so that the forums once again work on an 800x600 screen without having to scroll horizontally. If not, it's not that big a deal, its just quite annoying that the ads are the only reason I have to scroll.
