Can you believe that? On one of my sites, it's way worse and on a regular basis! This site's host server, I mean the site this build time refers to, went down this past weekend so I figure that has something to do with this ever so slight slow down.

Does this build time ever have to do with a poor connection, or is it just server build time from when the call is made to when the output begins?

The time includes building all of the page, i.e. getting everything from the DB, getting stuff from external URLs, rendering to HTML (template engine) right up to the point where Geeklog actually starts sending the result to the browser.

So a slow connection is normally not responsible for slow page build times.

bye, Dirk
