Events further off than 13 days

I noticed that Events that are set up for dates that are over 13 days from the current date, don't show up in the Events block.
Is there a way to extend this time period, so that Events that are 'further out', will show up?

change in config.php
$_CONF['upcomingeventsrange'] = 30; // changed to 30 days
