I now have the ability to email groups from my site. My long ordeal is nearly over, and I want to thank everyone who helped.

Now...

I tried signing up as a new user to see if I'd get a confirmation email back, and I got this error:

If I could get my site to send passwords to new users, I could truly die a happy man. Any help would be appreciated...

I should add - new users are being registered. It's just that the confirmations aren't going out.
