Upload Images for Forum Postings

Is there anyway to upload images in forum postings? I want to implement a solution similar to that of the image upload feature for stories.

If there is no way to do this could someone advise me on what I should do or how I can create it myself?

I never dared tot ask, but would it be possible to get the same image placement/upload utility for the static pages? That would be absolutely great!!
