I get this error message when trying to create a DB Backup. I need to upgrade to the newest version and need a backup first before I try to do this.

Any help would be appreciated. When I look at the root directory I do not see usr/bin folders.....do I create these manually?

Here is the error:

Incorrect path or mysqldump utility not executable.
Check $_DB_mysqldump_path definition in config.php.
Variable currently defined as: /usr/bin/mysqldump

I believe it is webhost related. I have the same issue.

You don't. Ask your hosting service where the mysqldump binary is located.

Also see the FAQ: How does Geeklog backup the database?

bye, Dirk
