mySQL error - really need help

I really need help with this - I found some older posts but it never seems like the issue was resolved.
I am currently getting this error
Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/sociop68/system/databases/mysql.class.php on line 108
Is there any way this can be fixed? I don't have a particularly high traffic site. Maybe 400 visitors a day max.
Any ideas on a fix?

what server are you on apache ?

You have to talk to your hosting service. The max. number of connections can be configured for MySQL and it seems it's set quite low in your case.
