Moving plugins dirs. after install?
Hello all.
I haven't been able to locate this particular question(s) so here goes...
I've installed ZClassifieds and the File Management plugins as per instructions with complete success.
I'd like to have them reside in the 'classifieds' and 'downloads' directories respectively, as opposed to 'advt' and 'filemgmt'.
Would it be better to deinstall these and reinstall from scratch or can I just change the names of the default directories and modify path statements in certain files?
Has anyone else done this yet? I have already change the language files to reflect name changes on the menu bar (i.e. 'Classifieds' and 'Downloads'), now I'm hungry to change the actual directories.
Thanks in advance and have a HAR HAR day.

Most plugin won't let you change these URLs easily, as they are often hard-coded in the plugins code
Back in the days when Geeklog had an automatic plugin install (which caused all sorts of problems and has since been removed), it was mandatory that all 3 plugin directories had the same name and pretty much all the plugins still follow that convention.

Dirk, thanks for taking the time to read and respond. That answer makes life simpler for me since things are working and I wasn't really looking forward to potentially messing it all up.
I know you're busy programming so let me say thanks to you and all the rest involved in this software as well as those making all these great plugins, code for blocks and bridges for other software.
Keep up the great work!
