forumAlt1 and forumAlt2 appear to be broken

using both firefox (RC 1.0) and IE 6.0 it appears that the forumAlt1 and forumAlt2 are being ignored... anyone else see this? know of a fix?

Looks good to me (Firebird).
Could you give more details. Where (site), what theme, etc.

it is a custom theme (sorta) i started with Smooth_Blue and just changed a color or two, i have added the additional stuff for the forums to the css, it just is not showing up.

the default theme is En, i have not added the css stuff to any other themes.

i fired up konqueror on my linux box just to see what would happen... everything shows up properly... i have a feeling this is a CSS implication issue in IE and Firefox...

for instance: in konq the main page has the images behind the heading for the news posts, the login button is a rounded image, and table rows have the right background color...

in firefox, they don't
