phpbbbridge install problem

Ok, everything works fine, sorta (my forum link doesn't show up on the header, but it's ok, I don't need it). But when I get to the installer, it returns this:

Ie: The template error I can fix. It's a long story about that. But I don't know about the rest of the errors. PLEASE HELP

It looks like your php warning level is higher than mine. At the top of the plugin's install.php, change

Text Formatted Code
$theAction = $action;
 


to

Text Formatted Code
if ($action)
{
    $theAction = $action;
}
 


If that doesn't fix all of your errors, and you still have "cannot modify header info" messages, try making sure that all of the new and changed files don't have any whitespace after the final ?>

Errr, I don't think I like geek log. Nothing but trouble so far After doing that, now that install doesn't show up when I click the plug ins

That's because I think it already installed. The errors you were getting before were just warnings. The install probably went through just fine.

Is phpbbbridge listed as installed in the plugin admin page?

Also, browse to http://yoursite.com/admin/plugins/phpbbbridge/install.php and see what is displayed there.

Nope, only plug in listed is the statistic plug in. When I went to the install page you listed I got this:


When click install, it just loops back to that same page

1. Make sure you make the changes I told you to make a couple posts ago. I don't think you have.

2. If the phpbbbridge entry does not exist on the plugin admin page, then it means you didn't copy all of the phpbbbridge files and directories to their correct locations. I would go through the install readme very carefully and make sure that you do everything it says.
