I have always allowed GL to set the ID for new static pages, but when I want to link to a static page, it is a pain to have the whole url plus 17 digits as a link.
Is there any danger, besides accidentally re-using a name (caught by GL as an error), in changing ID's?
Thanks, and . .
Blessings!

Not sure what you mean. If you change the ID, then any old links using that ID won't work any more. But that's the only "danger" I can see ...

I was mainly thinking about pages I create from now on. Old ones I would leave alone because many are linked from various sources.
