I swear I have searched everywhere and can't find the answer to the most basic of issues for creating very basic static page.

Here is the thing. I want to create simple html static page that has an image in the page. I create the html, I paste it into the static pages editor... but where does the image go and what is the path to that image?? Do I load up images in the "staticpages" directory? Or somewhere else? Do I have to create an absolute path for images? Like
?
Please tell me there is there a better way?

Thanks

Bruce

Normally, you have to create a page like any html page. Upload the image to wherever you want, of course through ftp, since there is no upload system that comes with the staticpages.

The easiest way is to install HTMLArea with the ImageManager plugin. You need to do a search to find out how to install it and where to get it.

First time installation might be a pain for some people, but once it is installed, it works like a charm.
