Internal Server Error when I click on "admin links/stories"

I think I messed up my db somehow... I was trying to move images from a story for use on a static page instead... and in the process of deleting them/replacing them, I started getting the ERROR 500: Internal Server Error" whenever I tried to access my stories list.
I can still use the "Get Published" link, but I can't see the story list or edit existing stories.
Any ideas? Do I need to repair my db somehow? I'm a n00b when it comes to MySQL but I've done minor repairs with phpMyAdmin before.
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
