new user signup problems

On my geeklog site when a person enters a username and email address to sign up as a user, they click submit and get this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /usr/www/users/wpbleah/lib-common.php on line 3259
I've already reinstalled the lib-common file and this problem is keeps happening. Any ideas?
