GL very slow after upgrade

After upgrade tu GL 1.3.9, my GL site www.tevac.com random (nearly always) is very very slow to responding. Other services on same server (phpBB, phpadsnew etc for example) responding correctly
The server is a PowerMac G4 867 Dual, 1 GB Ram, Mac OS X 10.2.8, PHP 4.3.0, MySQL 4.0.12
I have tried to:
- exporting data with mysqldump
- create new SQL database
- installing new GL (fresh insallation)
- importing data in new SQL database
any idea?
