story images disappeared

Hello masters,

I recently asked my ISP to change the name of my geeklog site...
I modified the config.php $_CONF['site_url'] = 'http://www.techtribes.ch';
and everything is fine except the stories images disappeared...
No change was done on my mysql database...
Is there anything I need to change somewhere else to recover the photos I posted on most of the 300 articles I posted?

Thank you for your kind support..
Jc

You mean the URL of your site changed?

The URL to the images is, unfortunately, stored in the database (this is a known bug, btw).

You will have to edit the stories in the database, I'm afraid.

bye, Dirk

The easiest way to do this is to make a database backup, make a copy of that backup, then use emacs or vi and do a search and replace, replacing your old url with your new one. You might match more than the image URLs, but it shouldn't really matter.

Then, just reimport the new database.
