I hava a question about the geeklog forum plugin. Is there any chance to disable showing left site blocks in forum? I want to make opening the forum faster...

Yes!, this can be done by opening your forum index.php and replacing COM_siteHeader with COM_siteHeader ('none').
Note, you may want to place a link to your home page in the top menu if you do this! See the faq for more information of adding items to the top menu.
