Hi, I am a newb on need to create a VERY SIMPLE web site 5 pages total. I could even get started with just a home page--I wd like to use Geeklog as it seems to create nice looking websites/templates.
However, I just cannot find any tutorial that would help me to get going; HOW to create a page, etc. I am NOT in the IT business in general and cannot afford the time to learn on my own. Can anyone refer me to a tutorial or how to get going with Geeklog?
Tx,

OK, Tx Dirk.
Failing step by step instructions written in PLAIN English, it looks like I will have to forget about Geeklog as everything looks pretty complicated for a newb like myself. It is regrettable as I believe that sites created with Geeklog have some of the best "looks" or "feels" --such as your own website--I have seen.

Is your problem with the installation or with using Geeklog?

We tend to think that Geeklog is not that complicated to use if all you want to do is publish your stories. Hop over to opensourcecms.com and try it out for yourself.

I'm not sure what u mean by "try it out for yourself".
Anyhow, to answer your previous question, I meant with using not installing.
I will further explore the issue and post back if needed.

I didn't know if you had already installed it or not. opensource.cms lets you try out various CMS (including full Admin access) without having to install them. So that would be a good start to get an idea how easy (or not) to use Geeklog is.
