Can Excel Template be used as External Pages Plugin?

Hello Gurus,
I am trying to use an excel template in my Geeklog site. I got the template from Microsoft site, and I want the format to be such that when people get to the site, they can get this page that prepares an amortization schedule.
Seeing the word "External Pages Plugin" made me think maybe it is possible. Is the External Pages Plugin capable of helping in this way or can someone suggest the way around my problem?
The template requires user interaction and as such, I want it the way it is in the template. Is there a way to put this template in Geeklog?
