Filemgmt problem...

I have a problem...
I cant upload files, I always get this error:
Error Code: 1017
ERROR: The file was not uploaded. Check permissions or duplicate file.
How come?
(PS: This counts for ALL uploads, not just 2mb+ files...)
I am running GeekLog 1.3.8-1sr3 if that counts for anything...
I should also mention that Ive managed to upload two files, from two seperate computers (and different IP's), but after one upload I cant upload anymore! I just get the error.

Ofcourse im uploading with different names!
I also have another problem... As I wrote, Ive managed to upload two files, but they get CHMOD'ed totally wrong (600)! Something that results in that I have to log on to my FTP and change the CHMOD manually to 644!
What is wrong?
