Hi! before other thing, Congratulations!! to Geeklog developers!! I write because i need to know how to protect my geeklog directory. In my server i dont have access a another directory only public_html. then i install all files and directories in public_html. All works fine!! but i dont feel secure. I put a .htaccess in the important directories (system, language, plugins, and all) but that just will stop access via the web (navigator), but not from the PHP or CGI scripts that other users might write. Then the question is, how to protect it? Thanks. Sorry my english, i dont speak much!! Oops!

Well, using a .htaccess should be sufficient. There\'s no way your users could write and execute their own PHP scripts (unless you give them access to the Static Pages), so you should be safe. bye, Dirk
