Windows Mailing problem!

I Been working with Geeklog for quit a while and i never had this problem on my Unix Systems and FreeBsd or linux but once i went to windows 2000 advanced server my geeklog websit is not sending mail to the registred users why is that ?

Do you have a working smtp mail. Geeklog uses php mail functions.

It seems that Windows IIS has a smtp mail server built-in right? Can\'t this be used?

i don\'t have one now but i can install one in no time but how do i define geeklog to use smtp ? or it does that automaticaly ?
