i think this shoutbox (http://www.geeklog.net/article.php?story=20020125060211603) hack is a great one! but i don't think it's implementated officially right? I've gone through the steps and it's kinda confusing and since i have taken some time to install GL on my site with the help of the ppl in #geeklog especially MLimburg, i don't wanna screw anything up.
i was just wondering if it can be made into a plugin and the installation done via that. i really love it but i think i'll go figure how to backup the mysql db then play around with the codes. If you know of any easier ways to do the installation, please reply to this. thankx!

Once I got all the files, getting shoutbox to work was pretty easy, just backup the files you're editing to your hard drive and follow the directions closely. Also if you post where you're having problems people can help you better. I don't think shoutbox is going to be made into a plugin just yet though. Anything's possible.

How do you configure Shoutbox to show up after installing it? Something is wrong with the way I set up the phpblock. Anybody know how to set it up?
Here's my error
"Shoutbox
Error in PHP Block. Function, , does not exist. "
What is the correct block function and block content?
