Well. I've been examining the code for the function phpblock_gallery() (from the Gallery/Geeklog script), and I don't understand why I can't use this without integrating Gallery to Geeklog.
Where is the difference of integrating versus not integrating!??

I suppose you could - it's just scanning a series of directories looking for thumbnail images. It's been written to understand Gallery's directory names for their albums and how they name the image files.

You should be able to use it without integrating - I did this for a while whilst I was having random mind-changing exercises about whether to integrate or not (I did integrate in the end).
What problems are you having with this?

My problem was, that I just got the little red cross (no image found) as the image, when I tried the stuff last night.
Now it just works as supposed, and I'm a happier man than yesterday!
