Well - not the right section I guess, but here it goes... What IRC client are you guys using, running on Windows!?? I do not have a lotta' experience in this, except maybe on Linux, but right now I'm primarily running a Windows XP computer. Which freeware client is THE best for this!??
I'd rather be good than clever - I'd rather have all facts wrong, than no reply whatever...

I've found that trillian has a decent IRC client.
In a world without walls and fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

If you use Mozilla (versions since about 0.95 I think), it has included a pretty decent IRC client. Also here is pretty complete list of windows IRC clients. -Vinny

Have a look at http://www.klient.com for probably one of the best available and geared for Win2k - XP's newer technologies. Smile I been using it for a couple of years now and love it.

I´ve seen one that works in any system, it´s web based but maybe you like it for your web o personal use. it´s called bocazas and i think it is way better than jpilot, i just got it from www.bocazas.com and included it on my website as of use for windows, only for windows, i think mirc is perfect

mIRC is by far the most popular IRC client out today, and the best IMHO. It'll work with any version of Windows (and Linux, through wine). It actually is shareware, but it won't nag you, expire, etc. Also, due to its popularity, tons of addon scripts have been written to extend its functionality in every way imagineable. And you can write your own, its quite easy. Smile
