I too am new to Geeklog, and loving it, but still attempting to wrap my head around the permissions system. Am I lost, or is there no way to limit what topics get listed in the dropdown box when a user clicks "Get Published"? I want to have several topics, some that only I as admin post to, and then a few others that users can. I realise there is a submission system, but I'd like all logged-in users to be posting (or even just given the option of posting to) a subset of all of the topics available, instead of me having to moderate each post (and having to edit them, change the toipc from General News to say, Discussions).

Geeklog's concept is that when you can see a topic, you can post stories to it. bye, Dirk

Hmm, so I guess that there isn't an easy way to make a topic that even anonymous users can post to (kind of like a guestbook)?
