I am curious if there is already a hack where an email is not required to register. I would like to modify users.php so that all a person needs to do is enter a username, password, and email - although I don't want their password emailed to them.. I want them to be able to set the password upon registration. If anyone wants to help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! -Zergo

Good idea! If all GeekLog sites had this, registering at the ones I like would have been a good deal more convienent for me. I'll take a look at it on Friday when I have time, and see if I can make a hack for it (assuming nobody beats me to it.) Thanks for the excellent idea.

yeah, I would do it myself, but then I gotta learn php. I also then have to learn even more about how geeklog works. So I would set a release date for a year..... better make that 2, just to be safe.
