One of my Geeklog sites has suddenly decided that none of the accounts has root access. Even admin is no longer granted access to admin-level functions.
What do I need to change in the database to fix this?
I have no idea what happened. I have been working on a project that has been doing a lot of access in the database. Something may have become corrupted.

I created a new user and then manually modified the database as explained by tony. I get the same behavior. The new super user is not recognized as a superuser.
Since I do not have a recent backup for the database I cannot restore.
Let's assume I wasn't hacked and this is just a simple database corrumption caused by work I was doing testing a cache system.
If I reinstall using a new table prefix, can use the existing, modified Geeklog files?
Would I do this following the new install instructions?
