Can anyone tell me what you make of this?
Paths have been quadruple checked!!
This is what happens when I try and run install.php.
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/httpd/vhosts/gatetable.com/httpdocs/admin/install/install.php on line 324
Fatal error: Failed opening required '/var/www/geeklog/system/classes/template.class.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /home/httpd/vhosts/gatetable.com/httpdocs/admin/install/install.php on line 324

open_basedir is a restriction set by your hoster. See this discussion for more information.

Are you running PHP 4.2.3? It seems that version has a bug in open_basedir, see this bugreport from PHP's bug database.
