Guess no one knows or it\'s not possible? I was wondering if an image could be put next to the link categories instead of link descriptions. Anyone here know if this can be done, even through a hack?

Well, a lot is possible Mr. Green The question is, where do these images come from? An image per link category shouldn\'t be too hard to add. You could put the images in, say, images/links and then use the category name as the image name (which may cause problems when the category name includes spaces or special characters). If you name your categories such that you avoid these problems, you could do all the necessary changes in the template files. An image per link is a different matter altogether. You will probably want to store the image names in the database, add a way to upload images, etc. That\'s certainly more work ... bye, Dirk

This should be fairly straightforward using HTMLArea. I tried adding an image and it does get stripped out, but it should be easy to have a [CODE}<img src="http://whatever_url"></img>[/CODE] point to whatever image you want, just like in the forums. The trick is to get it rendered through the template thtml file without the img being stripped. I'm off to Darien Lake with the kiddies, but I'll try to get it working when I get back - unless someone beats me to it.

Wow. Having an Image per Link Category option (even as a hack) would be an awesome new feature for Geeklog!
