OK - I'm on the verge of giving up for the night and doing some serious damage to my favourite spirit of choice ... I'm trying to install on an RHL 7.2 box running the latest stable versions of Apache, PHP and mySQL ... so far so good But, regardless of whether I try to do an automatic installation or a manual one I grind to a halt when I click on "Next>>" on the install.php page. This page has told me that it can write to my geeklog directory and seems to have passed all it's internal tests but clicking on the ole' Next button seems to have the same effect as hitting Refresh on the browser. I've looked in every log file I can think of but to no avail. I get the feeling I'm missing something pretty basic but what it is ... Anyone encountered this - or - even better (grins) knows of what the problem is? Gary

Got the very same problem. Running FreeBSD 4.5, latest Apache, MySQL, PHP... Did the chmods and chgrps as well. Hmmm? Help?! /mathias
