Static page php code to display Picasa generated web gallery folders as a portal to those web gallery pages. The static page lists the web gallery folders available, displays a random photo from the gallery, and the name of the folder of the gallery as links to those galleries.
You must use Picasa to generate the webgalleries.

This plugin makes backups of your Geeklog DB just like the standard function that is built-in. However with the following add-ons/changes:
- It does NOT use mysqldump, its using pure php code, since some users are restricted from using MySqlDump.
- It can GZip your files on request, under Windows as well to dramatically reduce the filesize.
- It will name your files according to the database, not just "Geeklog". People that share backup directories for multiple Geeklog installations need that.
- The time of the backup is part of the name. Therefore you can do several backups a day without any name-conflicts.
- Tested with Geeklog 1.3.10 and 1.3.9

This converts a PHPWebLog version 0.5.0 to a Geeklog 1.3.1 compatible database.

This scripts converts most things (sans polls) from phpWebsite's database to geeklog's. It' worked for me, but might need to be tailored for others.

This is a full translated file. I got the last Geeklog Version yesterday (thanks for all improvements!) and the portuguese_brazil.php language file was "half in portuguese - half in English" - basiclly due to many improvements.

This hack allows a GL 1.4.1 (beta) website to support read only and submit only topics. The zip contains three files, two php and one instruction page. With just 30-35 lines of code changed in the heart of geeklog, you can support readonly and writeonly story topics without any database structure changes. The zip file contains instruction for making changes to a 1.4.0 system that will enable this functionality. Changes are made to 5 existing core files. To validate and prevent character selections for account entry and to also prevent badly formed email addresses from creeping into the email address during account registration. Form validation for this aspect of GL has been needed in some basic form for some years now and this provides a first effort at screening this critical aspect of data entry for GL.
