Static pages did not work for me

I installed static pages 1.0-1.3.4 (and am using 1.3.4) and it does not work. I followed the instructions to the tee and doublechecked everything. I create a static page and it links it into my header bar, but when I click the link I get \"page not found\". BTW, is there any way to get it to not link into that bar? I want a lot of static pages, in a hieracrhial fashion. I don\'t want them all linked up there.

But first, obviously, I just have to get it working.

Alan,

Do you have a valid link shown in the static page list when you go the the Static admin page?
Like:

http://blweb.langfamily.ca/geeklog/public_html/staticpages/index.php?page=20020325210451448

Have you tried pasting the URL straight into another browser. The page ID should be the same reference in the database table "staticpage". Check and see that the staticpage record looks correct
