Concentrate on the correct thing

The idea of having basic functionality if not JS enabled and enhanced experience with JS enabled is the most applealing to me.
I agree there is no point in spending lots of time to make the same functionality with and without JS.

My point is that you should use JS (especially AJAX can be used this way) to significantly increase the experience of the user. But you shoudl not add it all over the place if it really doesn't make that big difference. In theory you could make everything work with ajax never reloading the page but there is no point in that, is there?
