Very nice! BUT:
I'm pretty sure it shouldn't look like this.

Just a quick follow up for anyone, the issue was with a conflicting preferred style declaration in the Ratings plugin. Removing it resolves the issue, as referenced by Mark in the forum thread mentioned above.

Hmmm. Did you actually install the plugin, or just copy the theme into your layout folder? It looks like you aren't pulling all the CSS files properly (cause you need to have the plugin installed, not just the theme.)

Feel free to post any issues you have though at

Amazing, I made a theme in less than 10 minutes. The white geeklog logo take me 8 minutes and 1 minute for the rest :)

You can see it in action on with the Virtual Theme Switcher.

Thanks to Eric and Mark.

I just wanted to update my old comment here. I'm no longer running the Chameleon theme I've updated my site to include the Gl Menu v2.6 from The professional theme is required to run Gl Menu, which is the only reason for not running Chameleon on my site. Chameleon is still a nice theme plugin and run functions nicely but I but I wanted A flyout menu. Only an update because if you look at my site now Self Autotech it is not running with Chameleon any longer it is a customized professional theme with Gl Menu you can check Chameleon theme plugin running on my other site here

You really should post your concerns on the website. Additional menuing is a planned feature for Chameleon. Eric would know more about that than I though.

Hi jmucchiello, sorry the only concern I have is that if any potential Chameleon users try to view my site from my previous comment on "Sunday, January 20 2008 @ 05:26 PM EST" to view a working install of the Chameleon Theme I don't want them to think my site is still running on Chameleon because it's not it's a custom professional theme. The reason for commenting on my old post was to only to avoid confusion, I am not running Chameleon as my site theme any longer at but I am running it successfully at I think that adding a menu to Chameleon is a great idea I would have continued to use it if it had a flyout menu. I originally commented on Chameleon because I like it and somebody had written a comment not to use it which was only an installation problem on there part, so I wanted the future users to see it works great and not deter from using a good theme plugin like it so if I post this concern on the Gllabs website then they will still possibly be clicking my link to see what Chameleon looks like. Confusion gone? I also don't know how if possible to erase or edit a previously posted comment so this was the onlyway for me to correct the info in my original comment . You can go ahead and erase all three of my comments if you like. No hard feelings, I just don't like it if someone that doesn't understand a simple Geeklog plugin install goes and leaves a bad comment because they are unable to get something to work. They should familiarize themselves with the basic install go over it a few times then do the install. So I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place i thought it was................. Regards, Dennis

My point was that the developer of Chameleon accept any comments and criticizism of their theme/plugin. Since you use it on one of your sites it's in your own best interest to tell them ways you'd like to see it improved. I'm glad you don't want to steer people here wrong. I'm just hoping you will also try to steer the Chameleon devs "right".

No reason to delete any comments. Comments are most welcome. I'm asking you to make more comments in fact.

Hi. I just installed Chameleon. It seems to work ok, I can make all the choices for a new colorscheme or page layout etc. I can even edit the name of a scheme.

I can save the new settings. The reaction is: Chameleon Settings Successfully Saved. But nothing is changing.

Does someone know how to solve this or where to find more info. Thanks.

Make sure to clear your browser cache by hitting Ctl + F5, as your browser hangs on to CSS files unless you tell it to reload them.
