Multiple topics/Categories?

Hi - I saw a post from about a year or so ago asking if it is possible to associate multiple topics for a story. response was no... Is this still not possible? I just started playing around with this last night, so I may be wrong, but I'm guessing 'topics' are like 'categories' in most blog software, no? Seems like this would be a frequently requested feature.

Hi!
After installing the latest version of the Menu plugin (1.6.3) it tells me in the Admin/Plugins-Section the version number is 1.61 and for geeklog version 1.3.6? Do i have still to change the new-index_1_3_8.php to index.php in the webroot like suggested?
Next Question would be how can i now select multiple categories if publishing an article. Or what are the other hacks for doing that?
Thanks,
Miklas
