- Grew up in the rural town of Southington, CT. Went to undergraduate school in the large city of Atlanta, GA at GA Tech. Always have been a champion of the underdog, the minority group, the picked on, abused and tormented. Went to graduate School at the University of South Carolina and obtained a Masters in Social Work. Worked in the mental health and psychiatric field. Started my own private practice as a therapist in early 1999. I spent a great deal of time discovering myself and it seemed that I had when I became a therapist. My life was never meant to be quite right or normal, or traditional... or even closely conforming to whatever expectations I have had about the way things should go.
