can not delete users after forum upgrade

I can not delete the users after forum upgrade
Any idea how to fix that
I have enable the option in config file that all new registrations should be approved
I get this error after trying to delete user
phpBB : Critical Error
Could not delete user 345 from phpBB groups table
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 2

I got the same error message except it was Line:359 and user 111 (which is just the users number of which I'm tryin to remove).
any ideas on this problem? I'm also using geeklog 1.3.11.sr1 and phpBB 2.0.17
