Blosxom vs Geeklog

I'm interested in converting from my existing blosxom blog to Geeklog, but I hate to lose the last 2 years of posts. Has anyone done any work with importing blogs into Geeklog, specifically from blosxom or another flat-file system?

It should be easy to convert any stories, assuming you know a bit of MySQL (and possibly PHP). Comments and users can be more ... interesting.
